The Slim Shed programme is not primarily about 'weight loss'. Its purpose is to teach you what eating real food really means. Once you understand what foods you should be eating to allow your body to function efficiently, weight just resolves itself without effort. Eating the right foods allows you to regain lost energy, sleep really well, banish bloating and indigestion and simply feel much happier in yourself.

The magic of the programme starts by introducing you to 'The 3-Week challenge'. This gives you 3-weeks of eating nothing but real, nutrient dense foods. All available from any shop. A lot of people experience many health benefits in this short time. It also teaches you the reasons behind most of our modern disease epidemics, including overweight, diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimers disease.

Once you have experienced the difference, you can make a choice. Either continue on the road to health recovery with its huge benefits, or go back to feeling how you used to feel by eating the foods you used to eat.

Give The 3-Week Challenge a go, feel the difference.
Testimonials:
At New Years I weighed 80kg. The wedding was on the 8th Feb 2008 and my dress was too small! I got on the programme as soon as we got home, and on the day of my wedding I weighed 73.9kg, and my dress fitted snugly - perfect!'
- Rebekah

My blood sugar was 8.5 and is now 5. I also feel I have a lot more energy. Many thanks for your kindness and help.
- Colleen

Can't believe that this is actually working. Have tried many ways to lose weight and feel better. The whole feeling of wellbeing is amazing.
- Jan

This program is brilliant. It is so easy to follow and understand. All the things we subconsciously knew about eating unprocessed foods is reinforced and when you feel good and at ease with something it is easy to continue with it. If you want a happy healthy life you have to take the first step!
- Sara

Sherry makes so much sense. Good health needs good fats. My irritable bowel has gone.
- Liza

In the last four and a half months I have got rid of 18 kgs of bodyfat. I can't imagine where it was carried on my body! That's like carrying around two 10 litre paint buckets almost full of water all day, every day.

Rozann - A life worth living

Invercargill woman, Rozann, has come a long way since the beginning of 2005 when she thought she was going to die. Seeing the sprightly, 62-year-old busying herself in her extensive garden it's hard to believe that last year she was choosing caskets and selecting music for her own funeral . . . read on

Test For Insulin Resistance

This test is an excerpt from Patrick Holford's book, The Holford Diet. His nutritional ideas are worth looking at, and he describes the sugar/starch problem really well. However, he uses a Glycaemic Loading for different foods and his tables don't discriminate between nutrient rich, properly prepared foods and the man-made disease-causing foods.

Insulin resistance is the beginning of a myriad of our modern illnesses. To see if you are insulin resistant, all you have to do is count the number of yeses to these 20 questions. . . read on

Do you need your gallbladder?

I asked a small group of people at a health seminar to put up their hands if they no longer had a gallbladder. I was stunned. Exactly half of them.

Know Your Fats

Saturated animal fats are healthy and absolutely essential if you want your children to be strong and intelligent. Saturated animal fats do not cause heart disease, it's the cheap processed vegetable oils and trans fats that do so. To learn more visit www.westonaprice.org by

Foods for Pregnancy

One of the most frequently asked questions is 'What should I feed my baby?' I was recently horrified when told by a young mum that a local plunket nurse has advised her to feed her 9 month old baby 2-minute noodles. Apart from the obvious chemicals, including the neurotoxic MSG, there is not one smidgeon of nutrition in there to feed a growing brain and make growth hormones, bones, teeth ...... Maxine of Mosgiel started feeding her baby, Neivah good food when she herself was pregnant, following a Weston A Price whole food diet. Neivah was born early in 2007 and is Maxine's third child. She is very different from the other two, being so happy, placid, alert and an absoulute delight. Maxine also put on far less weight even though she is a third time mum and 'a touch over 30'. To find out more about healthy foods for pregnancy, a natural baby formula, babies first foods ... and more, the Weston A Price journal on feeding infants has been so popular that it has been re-printed.
